Geoffrey Sea has done extensive research on Ohio Valley prehistoric earthworks and on the Passenger Pigeon. He is considered an expert on the Passenger Pigeon in this area and has his own trademark theory that the mounds of this area were built along the major messenger pigeon flyway routes for a number of reasons. He is a writer and historian who owns the historic Barnes Home in Pike County. He did his undergraduate work at Harvard and did graduate work at MIT, Columbia and the University of California.
