The Renaissance Singers are back at Al’s Diner and will be entertaining you with
their favorite songs of a wild decade of our country’s history. Join them on Sunday,
September 8, 2:00, at St. Mary Family Life Center for a musical journey back to
the age of the JFK, the Vietnam War, protest marches, and much, much more –
those Swinging 60’s! Grab a table at the Diner and hear all your favorites being
sung and danced to by those talented Rennies. There will be “oldies, but goodies”
made famous by The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, the Beach Boys, Chubby Checker,
Sonny and Cher, Peter, Paul, and Mary, the Four Seasons, Simon and Garfunkel,
and all the other musical stars of 60’s Rock and Roll. You’ll be dancing in the aisles
before the show is over. There is no admission fee, but a freewill offering will be
taken.
The Renaissance Singers, a Chillicothe-based choral ensemble, have been
performing and giving concerts for over 25 years. Their annual Christmas benefit
concert has raised thousands of dollars for Habitat for Humanity, St. Vincent de
Paul Society, and other local charities. They donate their services to area churches
for Sunday services during the summer months.
