South Central Ohio Preservation Society (SCOPS) has been preserving natural and cultural history in southern Ohio since 1966. They will be holding their summer meeting and will be celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Gary Argabright, president of the Mound City Chapter of the Ohio Archeological Society, will be presenting “Artifacts and Excavations: Unraveling Ross County and Ohio’s Prehistoric Past.”

SCOPS meetings are free and open to the public.
