Your new favorite summer event is here! Nothing beats a day at the beach, and we’re bringing the beach straight to downtown Chillicothe with 300 tons of sand! Saturday, August 28th head to Paint Street for “Sand in the Streets” presented by Downtown Chillicothe, Herrnstein Auto Group and Fifty West Brewing Company; a 9am-6pm Sand Volleyball Tournament featuring 24 recreational teams competing to win cash prizes. At 7pm, Downtown turns into one big beach party. Grab a beer, snag a chair, put your toes in the sand and enjoy live music.
All volleyball teams will be 4v4. Competitive team cost is $250 per team competing for our $750 prize, recreational is $150 per team with a chance to win $250. Enjoy things such as beach themed cocktails, Kona Ice, ice cream and local vendors. Hope to see you on Paint Street for family friendly event!
