Suzie Prange presents “Mortality of Gray Foxes in Southeastern Ohio” at Hopewell Culture NHP.

Gray foxes have been declining in Ohio, as well as in states across the Midwest. Potential factors affecting gray foxes include depredation by coyotes, competition with red foxes, and exposure to diseases from high-density raccoon populations. Suzie will talk about the relative impact of these factors and discuss results from data collected through the use of radio collaring.
