Chillicothe native provides insights from his national experiences to drive customers to your door.

Following his 1966 graduation from Chillicothe High School, Gary Von Kennel began his journey that would take him around the world establishing advertising and branding campaigns for companies such as PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, California Cooler and The Miller Brewing Company.
At Miller, he was charged in the late 1970s with igniting sales for its new Lite beer. Using sports celebrities, the phrase “Tastes Great, Less Filling” was debated on TV and in other media for years. The success of Miller Lite continues today. At PepsiCo, the Pepsi Challenge was born.
He was the first Global CEO of the Rapp Collins Worldwide agency that had a network of more than 60 offices in 30 countries. He had offices in London and on Park Avenue in New York City. From 1999 to 2008, he was the CEO of four different agencies in the Omnicom network.
The grandson of a shoe store owner on Paint Street in Chillicothe, Von Kennel said there are general rules of marketing and advertising that apply to businesses of all sizes which he will detail in this free seminar.
Von Kennel recently was named a Distinguished Alumnus of Chillicothe High School for his achievements in his career. He and his wife of 44 years, Jane, now live in Charlottesville, VA.
