Bring the whole family out to the Buzzard’s Roost and join the Ross Co. Park District for a night of fall fun! A dinner of soup and hot dogs cooked over the fire will be ready by 6:00 PM! Carve a pumpkin, roast some pumpkin seeds or enjoy a cup of hot cider while you wait for darkness to fall. Then hit the trail with your crew on a Trek-or-Treat night hike anytime between 7:30 and 8:00 PM! BRING YOUR FLASHLIGHTS AND HEADLAMPS!!! Education stations set up along the path will tell you about bats, owls, spiders and creepy-crawlers—and you may get a treat or two for your trouble! Then it’s back to the KNZ to warm up around the fire with cocoa and s’mores! THERE ARE NO SCARY ELEMENTS in this nature celebration, so don’t be afraid to bring your littlest hikers along!!
