The Barrier Ridge at the Highlands Nature Sanctuary is a remote, deeply forested trail with great vistas in the winter. Just recently open to the public, this 3.5 mile loop trail is the longest in the Sanctuary and offers hikers additional mileage and a more challenging route.

We need volunteers to help us haul in material to construct two stair cases on the trail. If you enjoy hiking and want to lend a hand, please join us!
