23rd Annual Scioto River Waterway Cleanup

Join the Chillicothe Green Team and clean the banks of the Scioto River, an “Adopt-a-Waterway” location. Participants should wear old clothes, rubber boots, and bring gloves. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be observed.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Please email Ross County Litter Control and Recycling at email@example.com for waivers for the event and/or questions.
The river cleanup will take place rain or shine, unless high water or severe weather develops. If the weather is questionable, please listen to WKKJ radio station for cancellation of the event. There is no rain date scheduled.
Refreshments for volunteers will be provided. Groups participating for community service credit can request a certificate and a letter of recognition for their group.
