Join us for an evening dinner and fellowship at the Lucy Hayes Heritage Center to commemorate the 1852 marriage of future White House residents Lucy Ware Webb and Rutherford Birchard Hayes.
We are continuing our annual tradition of the Hayes’ Wedding Banquet at the Lucy House, but again combined with the spirit of Valentine’s Day – on Saturday, February 12th, 2022.
“Elegant Eats” will again cater the event, with a menu to be released soon (as well as our newsletter). We will begin to gather for conversation and appetizers at 4, with dinner served at 5. It should be light enough outside to comfortably head home after 6 pm.

Lucy Ware Webb and Rutherford Birchard Hayes were married at her mother’s house in Cincinnati in a simple ceremony on December 30, 1852. Their wedding banquet was held the day after.
