See description

Now in its ninth consecutive year, the popular Wildflower Pilgrimage is hosted in Bainbridge in southern Ohio – showcasing the beautiful Arc of Appalachia Preserve System and other natural areas. The event features day hikes with the area’s best naturalists to botanical hotspots throughout the region. The food is memorable. Hikers are supplied with a delicious packed lunch each day, as well as breakfast and dinner.
The Pilgrimage is hosted at the Arc’s largest preserve, the 2200-acre Highlands Nature Sanctuary, known for its scenic karst springs, grottos and the sheer-walled canyon of the Rocky Fork Gorge. The event is headquartered at the Sanctuary’s visitor center, the Appalachian Forest Museum, where most of the indoor gatherings will be held.
Hikes will be held at botanical hotspots throughout the five-county region of the Arc of Appalachia.
